About the Job
Position Summary:
Deliver comprehensive economics education to diploma-level students, covering fundamental economic principles, theories, and their real-world applications through engaging instruction and practical case studies.
Deliver comprehensive economics education to diploma-level students, covering fundamental economic principles, theories, and their real-world applications through engaging instruction and practical case studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach diploma-level economics courses, including microeconomics and macroeconomics
- Develop lesson plans and curriculum aligned with diploma program requirements
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions
- Create assessments, assignments, and examination materials
- Provide academic guidance and support to students
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Integrate current economic events and case studies into teaching
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2-3 years teaching experience at diploma or tertiary level
- Strong knowledge of economic theories and principles
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to simplify complex economic concepts for student understanding
- Up-to-date knowledge of AI applications in Economics
